Dysfunctional Thyroid = Increased Systemic Pain
- Perhaps it’s coincidental that a deficiency in Vitamin D is present in cases of constant, moderate to severe pain of unknown origin.
- A quick google search = “hypothyroid vitamin d deficiency” reveals:

Bio-D-Mulsion Forte may be the answer. This micro-emulsified supplement enhances absorption and utilization, which is particularly important for those with malabsorption issues. Each drop supplies 2,000 IU of vitamin D3. - Your thyroid symptoms will not improve if you are anemic
- A B-Vitamin deficiency is called Pernicious Anemia which is present in an overwhelming number of people, particularly those with a thyroid malfunction.
- If you’ve been told you have or are at risk from a Thyroid condition, I highly recommend that you start taking 2-3 Vana-Chrom tablets daily. This is a specially formulated product with a low dose of essential B-Vitamins that are easily absorbed along with vanadium and chromium to help with blood sugar regulation. - Any gastrointestinal malfunction decreases the effectiveness of thyroid therapies
- Yeast-overgrowth alters gastrointestinal function in a number of undesirable ways. It invariably occurs as a result of any anti-biotic therapy. This could include the abundant amount of anti-biotic you presently consume from the food supply. A yeast over – growth is the catalyst that makes you sensitive to and then allergic to the proteins and gluten in grains and the casein in dairy.
- These allergies lead to even more severe gastrointestinal conditions like dysbiosis and leaky gut. Often not diagnosed properly, these can lead to further complications like celiac and chron’s disease.
- Leaky gut results in an alarming acceleration of inflammation, an enormous increases in free radical levels, and in both cases, the gluten and casein proteins are known contributors to thyroid disease
- Because it is an Auto-Immune disease any defects in the immune system must be addressed.

I was on Armour Thyriod 120 for about 7 or 8 years until recently. I was told that they stopped making it and the doctor put me back on leventhroid 112. My levels are now off. I am anemic and I have RA and Ankylosing Spondylitis, what can I do? Are there any options for me.
Thanks,
